STEWART FILMSCREEN & AND THE NBA CHARLOTTE BOBCATS TEAM UP TO ELECTRIFY FANS WITH A NEW STATE OF THE ART SCOREBOARD

Torrance, CA December 12, 2005 - Sitting atop the Charlotte Bobcats New State-of-the-Art Scoreboard is a unique, three dimensional, backlit design which brilliantly displays the Charlotte Skyline. By using a 360-degree projection system, the skyline has the ability to change from day to night, fireworks to snowfall, and more.

The backlit screen, which displays the skyline's scenery, consists of (4) identical curved frames standing 14-feet high by 25-feet 11-inches wide. Each frame has custom gain rear projection material attached by means of Stewart designed Critter Wire a system of tensioning wire and springs that will keep the flexible material from saddling (or bulging). These (4) individual pieces fit together precisely, creating a 360-degree radius or Cylinder Screen which sits luminously on the Bobcats Scoreboard. This remarkable one-of-a-kind Stewart screen displays a superb image from every seat in-the-house.

The NBA's Charlotte Bobcats Light up the Sky in their new hi-tech arena, providing you with another reason as to why Stewart Filmscreen remains the industry leader in rear projection screen technology, as well as custom projection projects.
