Many Hollywood blockbusters are produced in formats such as Cinemascope where the movie is 2.35 times wider than it is high. When watching this aspect ratio on a 16:9 screen, 33% of the pixels are used to create annoying black bars, reducing your image resolution. Designed for use with an anamorphic lens, the CineCurve features a native 2.40:1 image area allowing full enjoyment and flexibility when watching movies in super-wide screen formats. Maintaining a constant vertical height, two electronically controlled masking panels glide in from the left and right to create the perfect image area when viewing different types of media or movies filmed in various aspect ratios. The CineCurve is available with many of Stewart’s front or rear projection materials. A specialized snap-fastening system ensures a smooth and perfectly tensioned screen surface. FilmScreen 100 is a flexible rear projection screen material formulated with a neutral density gray tint for enhanced contrast. FilmScreen 100 offers very wide viewing angles for a contrast enhanced material and works well in short throw projection light paths.

Tint for enhanced contrast. FilmScreen 150 is a perfect choice for passive 3-D applications. FilmScreen 150 is excellent in rooms where high ambient light is a concern and is appropriate for moderate viewing angles.

LumiFlex 130 1.3 42 Degrees Off-White

LumiFlex 130 is a flexible rear projection screen material formulated at a higher gain and is appropriate for larger screen sizes or low output projectors. LumiFlex 130 offers excellent white field uniformity, has a gain factor 30% above unity and delivers a lot of energy.

Screen Trigger Interface (STI) 115V / 220V

The Stewart Filmscreen Screen Trigger Interface is a factory installed triggering device that has been designed specifically for the Stewart ElectriScreen motors. 

Video Interface Control System (VICS) 115V / 220V

VICS is a external verion of the STI. It interfaces with the triggering outputs from projectors, receivers, or other 3rd party control systems.
