CineCurve

Curved, Fixed Frame Screen System with Various Masking Options

CineCurve

Experience true, 16K+ immersion with these award winning, curved screens

Thoughtfully and thoroughly engineered, CineCurve is a curved frame system with optional independent, digitally controlled masking panels which matte the vertical edges of the screen accurately and with continuous variability. Additionally, we offer a wide range of acoustically transparent, masking fabrics. Each fabric is balanced for optimal sonic and visual performance. CineCurve furnishes cinematic envelopment reminiscent of the curved Scope screens developed for widescreen formats using anamorphic lenses. We are happy to specify and optimize the radius of the screen for today's anamorphic projection lenses, or furnish a radius based on your seating and aesthetics. Truly wow-worthy.

Experience precision masking

Today’s content is presented in many different aspect ratios — standard TV format, widescreen, CinemaScope, and HDTV. A masking system easily converts your screen from one aspect ratio to another. An image, like a painting, looks better when it is framed. Your eye perceives an image with a black border as sharper than an image without a border. Why? The deep black increases the dynamic range your eye can discern. With a Stewart continuous masking system, you will always get the sharpest possible image, no matter what the aspect ratio is.

Choose Cine-V for vertical masking only

Independent, vertical masking panels allow you to have two, perfectly matted image areas, designed for home cinema's most predominant aspect ratios: 2.35 for movies and 1.78 HD for sports and television viewing. Cine-V delivers flawlessly with constant vertical height and adds the extra sizzle of a beautifully curved presentation. Enjoy Scope content larger and more cinematic. Cine-V is what you need. Nothing more, nothing less.
